Sorry for the probable typos, typed this from a capricious device, making the cursor jump everywhere pretty randomly., Is there an in-game mode of vision that I haven't found ? I didn't find alternate views, apart from outside views. I usually prefer this to the gain of visibility provided by pure HUD display or 3rd person. It's an annoyance in many games, but freespace is to customisable, I wonder if there's an easy way to resolve this.Ģ) I'm also impressed by the colour customisation of the HUD, but I do kinda miss one element that attracks me in space sims : actual cockpit layout, as a constant reminder that we are hurling through space in a metal space can (especially with the semi-recent trend of showing acceleration and deceleration through cockpit distance).
